St Thérèse of Lisieux relics to come to the Archdiocese in September and October 2009
From 16 September to 15 October 2009, the Relics of St Teresa of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face (Also known as St Thérèse of Lisieux or the "Little Flower") will be visiting the Catholic Dioceses of England and Wales. YEAR FOR PRIESTS

Pope Benedict XVI has declared 19 June 2009 to 19 June 2010 a Year for Priests beginning. This year marks the 150th anniversary of the death of Jean Marie Vianney, the Cure of Ars, a model of priestly service.


All Catholics are encouraged to remember their priests through prayer, the celebration of the Mass, and Eucharistic adoration throughout the Year for Priests. Pope Benedict has granted special Indulgences to mark this Year.
